A fire broke out in an oil refinery in the city of Novoshakhtinsk, in the Russian Rostov province, as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack Wednesday night. Firefighting teams are working at the scene of the accident, and according to preliminary information, the fire area reached 50 square meters, Rostov Province Governor Vasily Golubev said on Telegram. He added that the incident did not lead to any injuries, stressing that work to extinguish the fire was stopped once, due to a repeated attack by another Ukrainian drone. Several hours later, Golubev announced that the fire had been completely extinguished. Ukraine has focused, during the past weeks, on targeting Russian oil platforms and infrastructure via drones, which has disrupted the activity of some fields and companies. Source: Qatar News Agency
