Russian, Pakistani Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Relations, Middle East Developments

Gaza: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed with his Pakistani counterpart, Muhammad Ishaq Dar bilateral relations and developments in the Middle East in a phone call Friday. The two sides also exchanged views on current developments in the Middle East and Pakistan's mediation efforts between the United States and Iran.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation underscored the importance of maintaining strong diplomatic ties between Russia and Pakistan. Both ministers emphasized the need for continued dialogue and cooperation on regional and international issues.

The discussion also touched upon the ongoing situation in the Middle East, where both nations have interests. Pakistan's role in mediating tensions between the United States and Iran was highlighted as an important diplomatic endeavor aimed at fostering stability in the region.
