Rwanda’s Foreign Minister receives an invitation to visit Iraq

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, Vincent Biruta, received an invitation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, to visit Iraq. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: 'The head of the Africa Department, Ghazi Al-Toubi, met at the headquarters of the Rwandan Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Vincent Biruta, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, where he handed him a written letter addressed to him from the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein. The letter dealt with the relations between Iraq and Rwanda, and the desire to develop them to meet the interests and ambitions of the two countries. The letter also included an invitation to the Rwandan Foreign Minister to visit Iraq.' Ghazi Al-Toubi pointed out the special importance and admiration that the Minister attaches to the successful Rwandan experience in peaceful coexistence, whi ch has become a source of inspiration for many countries. The Rwandan Foreign Minister expressed his thanks for the kind invitation, stressing the importance of the Iraqi delegation's visit to Rwanda, which reflects the desire to develop bilateral relations, pointing to the many opportunities that can be worked on, and promised to respond to the Minister's invitation and visit Iraq this year.
