S. Korea and Malaysia Commit to Ongoing Denuclearization Efforts for N. Korea

Seoul: The South Korean and Malaysian defense ministries have announced their commitment to continue efforts aimed at the complete denuclearization of North Korea. This agreement emerged during regular bilateral talks held in Seoul.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two nations deliberated on defense cooperation and the regional security situation as part of their discussions. They also agreed on the importance of implementing the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and adhering to UN Security Council resolutions concerning North Korea’s denuclearization.

Furthermore, the statement highlighted that both countries will work together to enhance bilateral cooperation in advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence. They also aim to strengthen collaboration in maritime security and the arms industry.
