Saudi and Egyptian Foreign Ministers Discuss Efforts to Reduce Regional Escalation

Saudi arabia: Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks on Monday with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty, who is currently visiting the kingdom, to discuss efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the region. The discussions were part of ongoing diplomatic initiatives to address and mitigate regional conflicts.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers reviewed ongoing diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the situation and help restore security and stability across the region. During their meeting, both sides also renewed their condemnation of continued Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia and several other Arab countries.

The discussions also covered bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, with the ministers exploring ways to strengthen cooperation across a range of fields. This includes enhancing collaboration in political, economic, and security sectors, aiming for a more unified regional stance.
