Riyadh, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, met yesterday in Riyadh with Karim Badawi, the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, the Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy. During the meeting, the ministers discussed the means of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of oil, gas, electricity, renewable energy, and hydrogen, aiming to achieve their common aspirations in these fields in alignment. This cooperation aligns with the vision of the leadership of the two countries and the ambitions of their peoples. The meeting also reviewed the progress of joint projects, such as the electrical interconnection project between the Saudi and Egyptian power grids the two largest electrical grids in the region, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. The Project which will enhance the stability and reliability of power supply between the two countries and maximize the economic and devel opmental returns of the joint electrical projects.
