The Saudi Cabinet called on the international community to put an end to the humanitarian catastrophe experienced by the Palestinian people, and to activate serious mechanisms to hold Israeli officials accountable for the ongoing violations of international laws, norms and resolutions. The Cabinet stressed, during its session chaired by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Saudi Council of Ministers, on Tuesday, the categorical rejection of extremist and provocative Israeli statements and the ongoing provocations of the feelings of Muslims around the world. The Cabinet session also reviewed the meeting of the Saudi Crown Prince, earlier yesterday, Tuesday, with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, which addressed the military escalation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, during which it was emphasized that the Kingdom would continue to make efforts to communicate with international and regional parties to stop the escalation.
