Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Higher with Significant Gains

Riyadh: The main index of the Saudi stock market closed higher on Wednesday, marking an increase of 131.66 points to settle at 10,650.39 points, with a total trading volume amounting to SR 4.6 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 234 million shares were traded during the session. Stocks from 205 companies experienced an increase in value, whereas shares from 43 companies saw a decline. This upward trend in the market reflects a positive shift in investor sentiment.

Additionally, the parallel market index, Nomu, also recorded gains. It increased by 100.63 points, closing at 25,123.21 points. The trading volume for Nomu reached SR 31 million, with more than 5.9 million shares being exchanged. The performance of both the main and parallel indices indicates a robust trading environment in the Saudi stock market.
