Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Lower With Significant Point Drop

Doha: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s main index experienced a decline on Monday, dropping 46.06 points to close at 11,644.55 points. The total trading value on the day amounted to SAR 5.2 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the volume of shares traded reached 226 million. Out of the companies listed, 60 saw their stock prices increase, whereas 193 companies experienced a decrease in their stock values.

The Saudi Parallel Market Index, known as Nomu, also faced a downturn. It closed 262.23 points lower, settling at 25,221.77 points. The trading value for Nomu was SAR 29 million, with more than 3 million shares changing hands.
