Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah discussed, in a phone call today, with his Swedish counterpart Tobias Billstrom the latest developments in Sudan.

During the phone call, the two sides discussed efforts being exerted to stop the military escalation, end the violence and provide the necessary protection for civilians, in a way that guarantees the security, stability and well-being of Sudan and its people.

They also discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, in addition to intensifying joint coordination on many issues of common interest.
