Detachments of the directorates of the Babylon Police Command, in cooperation with other security agencies, carried out a series of intensive security operations in various areas and main checkpoints in the governorate. Babylon Police Media Director Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini said, "The security exercise resulted in the arrest of seven wanted persons according to various legal articles, including murder and other crimes. He added that it also resulted in the recording of 71 traffic violations, the arrest of two foreigners for violating the residence law, and the seizure of 3 vehicles violating the traffic law and the arrest of their drivers."
