Sheikh Khazali discusses with the Chinese ambassador the strengthening of bilateral relations and developments in local, regional and international affairs

The Secretary-General of Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, received in his office in Baghdad today, Monday, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Iraq, Cui Wei, and discussed with him the development of bilateral relations and the strengthening of economic cooperation. During the meeting, according to a statement by Khazali's office, they reviewed bilateral relations between Baghdad and Beijing, developments in local, regional and international affairs, and investment opportunities in Iraq as a result of the stability of the security situation. Al-Khazali also appreciated China's positions in support of the Palestinian cause and its rejection of the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the people of Gaza. For his part, the Chinese ambassador expressed his happiness at this meeting, praising the patriotic positions of Sheikh Khazali on all issues pertaining to Iraq and the region, and his role in supporting the political process inside the country.
