DOHA - The Qatar Shooting and Archery Association (QSAA) held a seminar at Lusial Shooting Complex about the use of doping and its damaging effects in the athlete’s brain and the entire human body.
This seminar was managed by a number of specialists and consultants from the Qatar Anti-Doping Commission (QADC), including Dr. Afif Al Mansour, Mrs. Huyam Abdulaziz, Mrs. Al Anood Zaid Al Habashi and attended by members of Shooting and Archery Teams Committee.
Dr. Afif Al Mansour delivered presentation about the negative impacts of doping in the human body and athletes physical abilities. He warned that all athletes have to depend on their natural physical fitness and to void using the doping because it will cause long lasting damage in human organs.
He also described the doping as dangerous energy resources that will threaten human health and confirmed that this seminar came in effort to increase the awareness of the athletes.
