Manama: HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council, Nayef bin Mohammed Al Mahmoud, met Thursday in Manama with HE Secretary-General of the Shura Council of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, Kareema Mohammed Al-Abbasi. During the meeting, they discussed topics related to strengthening cooperation between the two sides and the role of the General Secretariat in legislative councils in supporting and enhancing joint Gulf parliamentary work. They also explored ways to exchange experiences and expertise.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing the collaboration between the Shura Councils of both countries. The discussions included the importance of legislative bodies in fostering cooperation and the sharing of knowledge and skills between the two councils. The meeting highlighted the ongoing commitment to strengthening ties and working towards common goals in the Gulf region.
