Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received Eric Giraud-Telme, French Ambassador to Bahrain. Marie-Laure Charrier, First Counselor at the French Embassy, attended the meeting. The Speaker commended the continuous Bahraini-French cooperation in various domains, affirming the strategic bilateral ties that support the interests of the two countries and peoples. He praised the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthen bilateral relations. The meeting reviewed topics of common interest and bilateral parliamentary exchange visits. Al Musallam emphasised the parliamentary keenness to continue cooperation and support joint projects between the two countries. The ambassador expressed his appreciation for Bahrain's keenness to enhance cooperation, praising the role of parliamentary diplomacy in supporting the strategic partnership between the two sides.
