The conference was attended by the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Ali Mohsen Al-Alaq, and his counterparts, the Jordanian, Adel Ahmed Al-Sharkas, the Palestinian Firas Melhem, and the President of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Journalists, Moayad Al-Lami.
The conference includes several sessions over two days, dealing with various axes, including the directions of the Central Bank of Iraq in banking reform and development, international support for the Iraqi banking sector and the role of the Iraqi banking sector in development.
It also includes the role of financial institutions supporting banking work and the future of electronic payment in Iraq.
