Student Killed and Three Injured in School Stabbing Incident in Nantes

Nantes: A student was killed, and three others were injured on Thursday in a stabbing incident at a school in the city of Nantes, western France. In a statement, French police confirmed that a high school student died, and three others were wounded in the attack, ruling out any terrorist motive behind the incident.

According to Qatar News Agency, the authorities stated that teachers at the school managed to restrain the attacker, a 15-year-old student, before police arrived at the scene. This swift action prevented further harm to others present at the school.

In a separate incident last February, one person was killed, and five municipal police officers were injured in a knife attack in the eastern French city of Mulhouse. The recent events have raised concerns about violence in educational institutions and public spaces in France.
