Manama, The Sunni Endowments Directorate has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, wishing the people of Bahrain, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns. The Sunni Endowments Council announced that the Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be held at its affiliate mosques and prayer areas at 05:38 am, noting that it has prepared 19 fully-equipped Eid Al-Fitr prayer areas, in addition to prayer areas at many schools for non-Arabic speaking communities across the kingdom's governorates. In this regard, the relevant committee announced the following Eid Al-Fitr prayer sites: 1. East Hidd (Julai'a neighbourhood)- Bu Shaheen nighbourhood mosque and Mahra bint Abdulla bin Abdulrahman Fakhro mosque will be closed. 2. Hidd, (Block 111)- Nearby mosques will not be closed. 3. Muharraq (Near Muharraq Cemeter y)- The following mosques (Hamad bin Kanoo, Al-Ghawi, Mariam bin Jassim Kanoo in Busaiteen, Khalifa Al Fadhel, Shaikh Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Bin Mshari and Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Mahmeed mosque in Dohat Arad) will be closed. 4. Al Sayyah, Busaiteen- Nearby mosques will not be closed. 5. Arad (Arad Fort square)- Nearby mosques will not be closed. 6. Diyar Al-Muharraq (south of Al-Baraha Marquet)- Al-Baraha Market Mosque will be closed. 7. Salmaniya- Nearby mosques will not be closed. 8. Isa Town (Traditional Market)- The following mosques (Sabeeka Al-Nusuf, Al-Radwan and Abi Bin Kaab) will be closed. 9. Al Riffa Al Shamali (Estiqlal Walkway)- Abu Al Fateh mosque will be closed. 10. East Riffa (Near Riffa Fort)- The following mosques (Al-Qala, Shaikha Lulwa bint Fares Al Khalifa, SHaih Salman, and Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Ghatam in East Riffa) will be closed. 11. Al Hajiyat (Block 939)_ Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa Mosque will be closed. 12. Hoorat Sanad_ The fol lowing mosques (Sharifa Al-Mannai, Kabinat Khalid ibn Al Waleed and Fatima bint Ali) will be closed. 13. Askar (Heritage Village): Nearby mosques will not be closed. 14. Zallaq (Zallaq Youth Centre)_ Othman bin Affan Mosque in Zallaq will be closed. 15. Hamad Town (Area opposite Hamad Kanoo Health Centre- Roundabout 17. The following mosques (Musaab bin Omair, Isa Mohammed Ali and Muawiya ibn Abi Sufyan) will be closed. 16. Hamad Town Youth Centre (Roundabout 2)_ The following mosques (Hamad Town, Ramla bin Abi Sufyan and Umm Salama) will be closed. 17. Budaiya- Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Moosa Mosque will be closed. 18. Salman City (Block 581-Road 8101)- Nearby mosques will be closed. 19. New Al-Ramli Housing area_ Nearby mosques will not be closed. Temporary mosques in Ramadan will also be closed. On the occasion, the Sunni Endowments Directorate extended sincere thanks to the government entities that have cooperated with it to prepare the Eid Al-Fitr prayer areas. They include the Municipalities Af fairs and Agriculture Ministry, the Interior Ministry, the Information Ministry, the Electricity and Water Affairs Authority, the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry, the Youth Affairs Ministry, the Education Ministry, the Health Ministry and the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
