Syria has expressed deepest condolences to families of the Palestinians who were martyred in the aggression and crime committed by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday at dawn, reaffirming its support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.

“The Israeli occupation forces added a new crime to the series of war crimes and crimes against humanity that they are committing in occupied Palestine, as the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday at dawn, resulted in the martyrdom of 13 Palestinians in a preliminary toll”, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said on its Twitter account on Tuesday.

“Words of condemnation and denunciation are no longer enough. What is required now is to take real measures to put an end to these Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people, and to hold accountable the Israeli officials who are trying to cover up their internal crises,” the Ministry added.

“Syria extends its deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, and reiterates its stand by the Palestinian people and their just cause, and affirms that such criminal behavior will only increase its adherence to this position, and will only lead to an increase in the determination of the steadfast Palestinian people to pursue their struggle until they obtain their full rights”, the Ministry said.
