With participation of Syria, the activities of 54th Algiers International Fair entitled “Algeria: Vision and New Perspectives kicked off on Tuesday and will last until June 25th at the Exhibition Center in the Algerian capital.
The Syrian pavilion was opened by Chargé d’Affaires of Syrian Embassy in Algeria, Muhammad al-Ghazawi, Director General of Authority for Support and Development of Local Production and Exports, Thaer Fayyad, and Vice Head of Damascus Chamber of Industry, Loui Nahlawi.
“The Syrian pavilion includes 20 companies of various textile and chemical specialties and household equipment , as it is organized by Authority for Support and Development of Local Production and Exports and General Organization for International Exhibitions and Markets, in cooperation with Regional Office of Arab Exporters and Importers Union in Damascus” Director General of Local Production and Exports Support and Development Authority, Thaer Fayyad, told SANA.
Fayyad noted that the importance of Algerian market for the Syrian products, as it constitutes a major destination for Syrian exports, especially textile products, as Algiers International Fair is considered one of the most important international fairs held in North Africa.
