The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Yarallah, discussed with the military commanders in Diyala Governorate a number of security files. A military source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the meeting discussed important files, including the security redeployment strategy, maintaining the momentum of operations in tracking ISIS sleeper cells, expanding the circle of intelligence coordination, and enhancing the security of the administrative borders between Diyala and Salah al-Din. He added that the delegation discussed the results of specific operations in the Hamrin Basin between Diyala, Salah al-Din and Kirkuk.
