The River Police of the Babylon Police Command recovered today, Sunday the body of the young man, Ali Iyad Al-Karawi, born in 2003, who lives in Al-Mahaweel district, from the Euphrates River passing through Al-Mashrou' district, north of Hilla.
Media Director of Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said, "today, the police recovered the body of a young man from the Euphrates River passing through Al-Mashrou' district, north of Hilla. He drowned while swimming with his friends.
He added that the police transferred the body to the forensic medicine office, and that an investigation was opened into the accident to find out the causes of death.
