Baghdad The electronic communication team in the Prime Minister’s Office was able to secure full protection for an Iraqi journalist in Lebanon, in cooperation with the Iraqi embassy in Beirut, following his appeal to the Prime Minister to rescue him from those who threatened to kill him.
A statement by the team stated that after direct and rapid intervention from its chief, it was able to move with the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, which, through the Iraqi embassy in Beirut, provided full protection for the journalist and transferred him to a safe place./End
