The Federal Supreme Court signed a memorandum of understanding with its Armenian counterpart for cooperation in the field of constitutional justice.

A statement by the Federal Supreme Court stated that “a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Federal Supreme Court and the Armenian Constitutional Court, which includes finding the necessary ways to develop cooperation in the field of constitutional justice, which leads to benefiting from the mutual experiences of the two courts in the field of constitutional justice and in the field of administrative systems followed by them” and which also leads to developing their work and contributing to the development of constitutional justice and establishing the principles of adherence to the provisions of the Constitution as the national document that includes the type of government system and the rights and freedoms of the general public in order to preserve them and not violate them”, noting that “the two brotherly countries, the Republic of Iraq and the
Republic of Armenia, have common historical relations through which this cooperation can be developed”.
