Intelligence Agency detachments in Baghdad, Al-Karkh, overthrew three wanted persons on charges of belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs.
A statement by the agency stated: “The three wanted persons were arrested in a controlled ambush in one of the areas of Baghdad /Al-Karkh, in light of accurate intelligence information, and after collecting information and conducting the necessary investigations.”
It added: “The defendants frankly admitted, during the investigation, that they belonged to ISIS gangs within the so-called (That al-Sawari and bails) and were receiving sums of money in return for that.
Their statements were also recorded and they were referred to the relevant authorities in preparation for their appearance before the judiciary.”
