The Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, confirmed today, Wednesday, the possibility of opening prospects for joint cooperation between Iraq and Iran.
Al-Yasiri said in a press conference during her participation in the Conference of Communications Ministers of the ACO in Iran, that "the telecommunications sector needs joint cooperation between the two countries, given that they have large borders through which the Internet is transmitted, in addition to investing large energies and advanced technology and relying on themselves in the communications technology industry," stressing " The possibility of opening prospects for joint cooperation between Iraq and Iran in this field.
Al-Yasiri added, "We noticed during the tour in the Communications exhibition that there are sectors through which cooperation can be made with the Iranian Ministry of Communications," pointing out that "the most prominent of these sectors are the social media and the Internet sector."
She explained that "there are Iranian companies from the private sector that have experiences that can be used in the fields of the Ministry."
