Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, received today, Sunday, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan accredited to Iraq and residing in Amman, Aidar Bek Tumatov, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting they discussed, cooperation between the two countries, outstanding issues, and work was done to activate bilateral cooperation in various sectors, and the decision of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding their desire to open an Embassy in Iraq.
