Minister of Justice Khaled Shawani discussed today, Wednesday, with the French Ambassador to Baghdad, Eric Chevalier, a number of judges, the French Public Prosecution, and the accompanying delegation, cooperation and coordination in the legal and judicial fields that serve the interests of both countries.

The Minister praised France's support for Iraq in various fields, especially files of common interest between the two sides.

For his part, the French Ambassador and his accompanying delegation appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Justice in achieving human rights standards in correctional departments and improving performance in judicial departments.
