On Sunday afternoon H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, opened Rawdat Al Khil Park located in Al Muntazah area Doha, in the presence of H.E Mayor of Wilmington ?Delaware City U.S.A, the members of the American delegation who are currently visiting the State of Qatar and a number of the officials from the Ministry of Municipality, Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and Doha Municipality.

On this Occasion Mr./ Mansour Abdullah Al Mahmoud, the Assistant Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality, assured that the opening of the Rawdat Al Khil Park is part of the great concern of the Ministry to build and develop the public parks in different places across the municipalities, to provide healthy recreational and tourist places for families. Rawdat Al khil Park is one of the oldest parks in Qatar which has acquired a favored position for the citizens and residents of Qatar for decades.

Mr. / Mansour Ajran Al Buainain, director of Doha Municipality, expressed his pleasure for the completion of the Rawdat Al Khil Park development project at the time in which Qatar witnesses several achievements in different fields. He said that the Park represents an important addition to the recreational and tourist facilities and landmarks that contributes in enhancing the services provided by Doha Municipality to citizens, residents, visitors and tourists.

Director of Public Parks, Eng. Mohammed Ali Al Khouri, declared that Rawdat Al Khil Park is one of the central parks that serve many neighboring areas because of its large area of 140 thousand square meters, making it one of the largest parks in the state. Moreover, it contains several entertaining and sports facilities desirable to visitors which make the park a healthy place for the people.
