The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces the opening of a temporary certification office in Bethlehem

Ramallah - Ma'an - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in cooperation and coordination with the Bethlehem Governorate and the Bethlehem Municipality, announced the opening of its own certification office at the municipality headquarters. This decision will be effective from 8/12/2024 until 9/11/2024, to facilitate citizens' transactions, especially students who passed the high school exams, and complete them as quickly as possible. The Ministry confirmed that this office will operate temporarily during this period, according to the official working days and hours followed by the Bethlehem Municipality. The Ministry indicated that all certification offices in the governorates (Ramallah/Hebron/Jenin/Nablus) work from 8:30 am until 2:00 pm, all days of the week except for the official holidays (Friday and Saturday), and on Thursday from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm. General instructions for completing authentication procedures: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates approves all transactions u sed abroad, after they have been approved by the competent authorities, as follows: · The high school certificate must be certified by the Ministry of Education first, then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. · Civil status transactions (birth certificate/good conduct certificate/copy of passport/death certificate) certified by the Ministry of Interior, then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. · Medical examination (free from diseases) approved by the Ministry of Health and then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. · A certificate of no criminal record issued by the Ministry of Justice and then certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. · Agencies of all types must be certified by the Ministry of Justice, then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. · Legal transactions (marriage contracts/legal powers of attorney/celibacy/divorce/widowhood) are authenticated by the Office of the Chief Justice, then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Exp atriates.
