The number of journalist martyrs in Gaza has risen to 142 since last October 7

Baghdad, Palestinian media announced that the number of journalist martyrs had risen to 142 journalists since the start of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, after journalist Salem Abu Tayur and his son Hamza were killed in an Israeli occupation bombing that targeted their home on Tuesday in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. The local Al-Quds Channel said in a statement today: 'The channel's journalist, Salem Abu Tayur, and his son Hamza were martyred in an Israeli attack on their house in the Nuseirat camp.' The channel added: 'As we mourn a new colleague on the path to Al-Quds and liberation, we affirm our continuation of our media message of resistance.' Palestinians, including journalists, performed the funeral prayer for Abu Tayur and his son in the courtyard of the 'Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah, in the middle of the Gaza Strip, before they were buried in the city cemetery. Thus, the number of martyred journalists rises to 142 since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7th. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
