The occupation arrests 20 citizens from the West Bank

Ramallah - Ma'an - From yesterday evening until Wednesday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 20 citizens from the West Bank, including a child and former detainees. The Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club reported in a statement issued today, Wednesday, that the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Hebron, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Tubas, Nablus, Jericho, and Jerusalem. The statement indicated that the occupation continues to carry out acts of abuse, severe beatings, and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens' homes. He pointed out that the occupation arrested dozens of workers from the West Bank, under the pretext of entering 1948 to work without a permit, and it was not possible to know their numbers and identities. It is noteworthy that the total number of arrests after October 7 reached more than 8,535, and this number includes those who were arrested from homes, through mil itary checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
