The PMF launch a large-scale security operation in Kirkuk

The Popular Mobilization Forces' North and East Tigris Operations Command launched a large-scale security operation today to pursue terrorist remnants in Kirkuk Governorate. The Popular Mobilization Authority' media stated in a statement that "the operation, in which a force from the 16th Brigade within the aforementioned command participated in coordination with the Iraqi army, included searching and clearing two main axes of the governorate, where the first axis included the areas of Al-Yarghunat, Wadi Al-Janabi and Wadi Al-Khasa, while the second axis included Lower Yorgon to Tal Alas." The statement added that "the operation resulted in the discovery of a number of terrorist war remnants that were removed and treated by specialists in a safe manner."
