The Popular Mobilization Authority announced the overthrow of a prominent leader in the remnants of the terrorist 'ISIS' in Anbar Governorate. The Authority stated in a statement that: 'A force from the Intelligence and Information Assistant Detachments/General Directorate of Information in the Popular Mobilization in Anbar Governorate, during a qualitative security operation based on accurate intelligence information, arrested the so-called 'A.H.M.', who is considered one of the important 'security leaders' in the remnants of the terrorist 'ISIS' in Anbar Governorate, where the necessary legal measures were taken against the detainee.' It added that 'this operation comes within a series of qualitative security operations by the Popular Mobilization and security forces in Anbar Governorate in pursuing the remnants of the terrorist 'ISIS' and wanted persons and enhancing security and stability in the governorate.'
