The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed: The Shabak is an important component that contributed to the construction process and facing various challenges.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic quoted the President as confirming during his meeting with a delegation representing social figures from the Shabak citizens that "Iraqis are equal in rights, and the standard of the right man must be applied in the right place without any discrimination between one citizen and another, indicating that the Shabak is an important component that contributed to the building process and facing various challenges.
He pointed out the importance of approving the budget to provide services to the Iraqi people, rehabilitate the infrastructure and start implementing vital projects that will have positive repercussions on the lives of citizens.
The President of the Republic talked about the optimal use of water during the agricultural seasons and the emphasis on not consuming strategic storage, pointing in this regard to the need for continuous treatment of the Mosul Dam and not emptying the dam of water.
The President also touched on the problem of the displaced and their tragic conditions, as he stressed that the real suffering is the suffering of the displaced in the camps, and their file must be resolved and they must be returned to their areas of residence after rehabilitating them and providing the appropriate atmosphere for their return.
For their part, the members of the Shabak delegation appreciated the president's propositions and supportive stances calling for protecting social peace and guaranteeing the rights of all Iraqis of all affiliations, as they affirmed confidence in the president in preserving the social fabric and protecting diversity in Iraq.
The delegation also reviewed the status of the Shabak and their community proposals to develop some important joints.
The members of the delegation indicated that matters in the Nineveh Plain and the areas of Mosul are stable and the security conditions are good and secure, stressing that there is a tangible shortage in providing the necessary services to the people, hoping to work to address that./ End
