The Syrian army announced that a soldier was killed and three others were wounded in Israeli air strikes on military sites and a residential building in Damascus early Sunday morning. The army stated in a statement, 'The (Israeli) aggression launched missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a number of our military sites in the southern region and one of the residential buildings in (Kafar Sousa) area in the city of Damascus, while our air defense system confronted the enemy's missiles, despite their density, and shot down quite a few of them.'
