The Turkish Army Directs Tank And Artillery Strikes Against PKK’s Positions In Northern Syria

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that units of the Turkish army launched artillery and tank strikes at dawn on Friday at the sites and hideouts of the Kurdistan Workers' Party in northern Syria in response to the attack on a Turkish army unit at Dabiq base in northern Syria.

The Turkish Defense Ministry stated in a statement that artillery and tank strikes resulted in the killing of 26 PKK militants and the destruction of many shelters, sites and fortifications belonging to the PKK.

Dabiq base, located within the Euphrates Shield Operation area, was attacked last night by armed groups of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, causing the injury of 8 Turkish soldiers.
