A force from the 22nd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in coordination with the Security and Operations Command of Kirkuk and East Tigris of the Popular Mobilization Forces, thwarted an unlicensed medicines smuggling operation from Erbil Governorate to Baghdad. The PMF media said in a statement: 'The operation took place during an elaborate ambush in the Hamrin Hills, where the force was able to thwart the smuggling of a large shipment of unlicensed medicines that was coming from Erbil to Baghdad Governorate and arrest the truck driver.'
