The National Security Service arrested 5 people involved in electronic cheating in Anbar and Basra governorates. The service stated in a statement that: "With the start of the second round of ministerial exams for the final grades, the National Security Service detachments intensified their follow-up of traders and promoters of electronic cheating headphones, in order to maintain the smooth running of exams." He added: "Following these follow-ups, the detachments in Anbar and Basra governorates were able to arrest 5 suspects, one of whom is the main source of electronic cheating headphones in Basra before he tried to flee the country, and another in Anbar was taking the exam instead of the student registered at the school by forging the exam card and ID, while the other three were found to have electronic cheating headphones in their possession that they used while taking the exam." He explained that: "The suspects were referred with the seized items to the competent authorities to take the necessary measur es against them in accordance with the law."
