Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that tomorrow, Friday, is a "national day of mourning" for the assassination of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh. Erdogan said in a post on the X platform today, Thursday: "Expressing our support for the Palestinian cause and our solidarity with the Palestinian brothers, a national day of mourning has been declared tomorrow, Friday, for the martyrdom of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh." The Turkish president added: "I pray for Ismail Haniyeh and all the Palestinian martyrs, and I offer my sincere condolences to the Palestinian people on my behalf and on behalf of my people.
