Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that his country will submit its file to join the genocide lawsuit filed against Israel at the International Court of Justice next Wednesday.
In a press conference today, Monday, with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Ati in the capital Cairo, where he is on an official visit, Fidan expressed his condemnation and denunciation of the crime of killing “chief ceasefire negotiator / Ismail Haniyeh / describing the crime as an act that reflects the vileness of its perpetrators.
He stressed that Turkey will submit its file to join the genocide case filed against Israel at the International Court of Justice next Wednesday in The Hague, calling on “Israel’s owners to hold its noose” (referring to the United States).
The Turkish Foreign Minister stated that Palestine took a “constructive position” during the negotiation process, while Israel was the party that “obstructed the negotiations”.
He also considered that those who support Israel “unconditionally are the main party responsible for shaking the foundations of the international system”. He added, “Those who consider the occupation of Ukraine a crime are turning a blind eye to what the Israeli invaders are doing in Gaza”.
Fidan indicated that his country is making intensive diplomatic efforts led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to prosecute the “perpetrators of massacres” in the Gaza Strip. Pointing out at the same time that “it is no longer acceptable for the United States of America to try to mitigate all the evils committed by Israel.”
For his part, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati called on the international community to work to stop the war in the Gaza Strip and to deliver aid “without conditions or obstacles.” He said: “I discussed with my Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan the crisis in the Gaza Strip and the situations in Libya, Sudan, Yemen and the Red Sea.”
He added: “Our message to the world is to work to stop the war in the Gaza Strip and to deliver aid without conditions or obstacles.”
