Fidan said in a post on the X platform after conducting an inspection visit to the Egyptian port of Arish and the Rafah border gate with the Palestinian Gaza Strip today, Sunday: "Israel's closure of the border gate, targeting relief convoys, killing relief workers, preventing the evacuation of patients and civilians, and causing thousands of trucks of humanitarian supplies to rot, is a crime against humanity and the first stage of the genocide it is carrying out on the other side of the border." He added: "Turkey is the country that has provided the largest amount of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Our goal from being here is not to talk about Turkish aid, but to draw the attention of world public opinion to the genocide in Gaza." The Turkish Foreign Minister called on the world to abandon its silence regarding the cruelty practiced by the Israeli administration, an d to make more efforts to ensure that aid reaches Gaza without hindrance or interruption. He also stressed that Turkey, with its state, citizens and non-governmental organizations, will stand by the Palestinian people until the end and will continue to perform its moral and humanitarian duty.
