The Minister of Electricity, Engineer Ziyad Ali Fadel, received the Minister of State of Turkmenistan for Gas Affairs, Babayev, and his accompanying delegation, at Baghdad International Airport.

A statement by the Ministry of Electricity stated that the Minister is conducting an official visit to discuss the prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries, and preparations for signing a memorandum of understanding to supply gas for the benefit of electricity stations.
