The Qatari Minister of Transportation, Jassim bin Saif Al-Sulaiti, and the Emirati Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Al-Mazrouei, arrived in the capital, Baghdad. The two Gulf ministers will participate in the signing ceremony of a quadripartite agreement between Iraq, Turkey, Qatar and the UAE on the development road. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Baghdad this morning, and was received at Baghdad International Airport by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani. The visit will last one day, during which the issues of water, economy, security, the development road project, and developments in the situation in the region will be discussed, and a bilateral strategic framework agreement will be signed that aims to expand the partnership in the economic and trade fields, exchange experiences, and confront common environmental and regional challenges.
