Two Injured in Israeli Strike on Southern Lebanon

An Israeli strike in southern Lebanon wounded two people on Sunday, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.

The two injured in the raid that targeted a house in the town of Shebaa were admitted into hospital for treatment, a statement from the ministry added.

Earlier in the day, one person was killed in an Israeli raid that targeted a motorcycle in Shebaa, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.

The agency reported that Israeli drones, which had been flying extensively over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line, struck the outskirts of the towns of Aita Al-Shaab and Ramyah.

This Israeli escalation against towns and villages in southern Lebanon coincides with its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7.
