Beirut: Two people were killed and two others injured in an Israeli occupation raid on eastern Lebanon Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese News Agency reported that an Israeli drone launched a raid on the Shaara area in the Jennata region on the outskirts of the eastern Lebanon mountain range, resulting in two deaths and two injuries.
On January 26, the 60-day deadline for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon ended in implementation of the ceasefire agreement reached on November 27. The Lebanese government announced its approval to extend the deadline until February 18, while Israeli forces withdrew from all villages and towns except for five points in southern Lebanon.
