Two Quakes Measuring 4 Hit Eastern and Northern India

New Delhi: Two earthquakes measuring 4 on the Richter scale hit Monday New Delhi and Bihar State in Eastern India. The first one occurred in the capital, New Delhi and its surrounding areas, at a depth of 5 km and was felt by residents. Shortly after, a 4.0 magnitude quake was reported in Siwan, Bihar. No casualties or damage were recorded in either earthquakes.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has urged in his X post everyone to stay calm and follow safety precautions, staying alert for possible aftershocks.
