Mosul Nineveh River Police announced the drowning of two young men in the Tigris River south of Mosul. A source in Nineveh Police told the National Iraqi News Agency /NINA/ that "two young men in their twenties drowned while swimming in the Tigris River at dawn today in the village of Al-Zawiya in al-Qayyarah district south of Mosul." The source added that "the river rescue found them hours after they drowned and handed their bodies over to the forensic medicine department in Mosul." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
