UAE Air Defenses Intercept 10 Missiles, 45 UAVs from Iran

Abu dhabi: The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its air defenses on Tuesday engaged ten missiles and 45 UAVs launched from Iran.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry revealed that since the onset of the Iranian attacks, UAE air defenses have responded to 314 ballistic missiles and 15 loitering projectiles, alongside 1,672 drones.

These hostile actions have led to the martyrdom of two servicemembers of the UAE Armed Forces who were performing their duties. Additionally, six civilians from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Palestine lost their lives, while 157 individuals of various nationalities sustained injuries ranging from minor to critical.

The Ministry affirmed its continuous state of alert to counter any potential threats, pledging to act decisively to prevent actions that might compromise the nation's security. It emphasized its unwavering commitment to protecting the UAE's sovereignty, stability, and national interests.
