New York - Ma'an - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Thursday that the people of Gaza have been living in "indescribable" terror for a year due to the aggression of the Israeli occupation forces. UNRWA Communications Officer Louise Waterridge said in a post on the X platform that 'the Gaza Strip has been subjected to continuous Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023, and that the war on Gaza has been going on for one year, resulting in the displacement of 1.9 million Palestinians and the killing of more than 41,000.' She explained that "the horror that the people of Gaza have been suffering from for 12 months, every day and every hour, cannot be described." Waterridge pointed out that the hospitals smelled of blood, and that doctors were unable to save the lives of many children. Source: Maan News Agency
